I have things to trade in the cafeteria. There's hams and cheeses, doughnuts, and juices. Socks too, and wet wipes, toys and jewelry. I've got books too for those who want them and markers in lots of colors. There's a lot more too. I'll be here all day or until it's all gone.

[ she took over a section of the cafeteria for her use. her direwolf lies beside her, guarding both her and the cart.

her wheeled cart ( commandeered from the clinic ) is full of items: the top has a tray of finger food from the promised cold hams and cheeses to oysters and shrimp packed in ice with sauces alongside, even cooked mini pizzas. below are assorted vending machine goods in their wrappers, sacks of ground coffee and hot chocolate, and a dozen fresh doughnuts. she has a pitcher of lemonade and a half-gallon of fruit punch.

in the drawers are assorted items such as wipes, hand sanitizers, socks and scarves, toys including a stuffed bear that moves and talks when you press its stomach, a few books and papers and markers.

hidden inside a bag at the girl's feet are a few cartons of cigarettes and small bottles of whiskey and wine for those who can pay a little extra. ]

[Lisbeth doesn't even respond. The moment she sees the network post from the strange girl who appeared in the VR with her, she's off to the cafeteria carrying whatever she can trade or make purchases with in her backpack.

She approaches the cart, shifting her backpack.]

[ When Anne walks into the cafeteria and sees this, she of course has to stop to try and make sense of it. The girl is trying to be a merchant? Here?

She only recognizes about half of it, but what she does she's surprised by. ]

However did you get such fresh food? Missions? I hope they are from others and not you.

[ Because 'Cat' is clearly too young to be used as a soldier! Even a supplier. ]

I got most of it myself. I like missions. They're better than being here all the time.

[ Oh good God, Anne hadn't noticed the wolf by the girl, the cart in front with it's odd items having distracted her well enough for the first few moments.

She's too shocked to even question the girl's position on missions, but does her best to swallow her gasp, pressing one hand to the belly of her bodice. ]

...Yes. Well. I say, that is quite the awesome beast you have tamed. It would put the royal hounds to shame. I assume it is a great protection on your missions?

[ He reads over the message, then idly decides to stop by in person instead of RSVPing. It doesn't take him long to get there, and he greets her with a nod. ]

...May I ask how you managed to acquire these?

[ He's not really interested in asking because he wants to get stuff himself, or anything else equally shady - he's just curious. Your stock is kind of weirdly impressive, Arya....... ]

[Though her message had been heard and he was curious about the wares she offered, Giovanni's eyes were for the wolf by her side. ]

You are a very enterprising young lady. What are you hoping to trade for?

He arrives at the cafeteria shortly, Tim on his shoulder and the requested items in his hands.]

You've been busy, eh?

She's my friend. She doesn't really like others, though.

[ so no petting the puppy. ]

[ wasn't EVEN gonna try. ]

Are you certain of the wisdom in bringing her to such a public venue, then?

She'll only bite if someone tries to touch her or grab me. And with her here, no one will try to steal from me.

[ her smile turns very sweet. ]

You may. [ doesn't mean she has to answer. ] Do you want something?

I'm not a lady. I'm a bastard. [ let's get that out of the way first. ] What do you have?

Only a little. [ she grabs one of the shrimp and waves it in the air for tim. tim eats free when he likes. ]

[ Well... A good insurance policy, apparently, that she'll at least nod to. It still unnerves Anne, so much so that she has trouble concentrating, but goodness does she try. Because there are THINGS on here she hasn't seen before. And then she notices the books. ]

You have books? Why ever you would be rid of them if you have your hands on them, child?

[ she gives a nonchalant shrug. ]

I cannot read them. They are all in English.

[ Oh, that's right... It's so easy to forget the miracles of the speech here. And how little it helps with the written word. ]

Oh, it is not so difficult. I can teach you if you like.

A cruel term, I see no reason for it.

[His eyes were drawn away from the wolf towards the girl. Her way of speaking was very curt, but he made no more judgement on it than that. ]

I had a few things with me when I was drawn here, coin from the island, a few from my home... they may mean nothing here, a few books I have already finished. I do tend to travel light.

[ Okay, that was a pretty good answer. He doesn't smile back, but inwardly he's amused. Instead he points towards the top of the cart, indicating the doughnuts. ]
