Um, hi. [Even though you can't see her. She gives a nervous sort of hum.] I'm Skyler. I'm new, just came aboard this month. I've been helping out with the clinic data, but I made a post about possibly starting a school or a day care.

It's not much, but someone made a run for me, and there's a few laptops, some games like Oregon Trail-- my son really liked that one, books, puzzles, and a few things for smaller children. This isn't any sort of forced thing. But if anyone wants to come and learn, spend some time away from the war, play a few games, whatever.

You don't have to worry about food or anything. It's all covered. [Here. Have a location.]

And Anne, I think was her name? You are more than welcome to come. [There may be a hymnal or a devotional book.]

Two so far, but I talked to a few others interested last time. There's enough kids on here, and I know no one wants to be forced into going. [She just wants a safe place for kids to be able to learn.]

Forced into going? If I may be so bold to ask, what else better is there for them to do? They can't send children on missions, can they?

[ Though she's been considering it a bit herself due to guilt mostly. ] They couldn't possibly risk... doing that to a child, right?

I don't think they do, but not every kid likes school. [She's trying to appear reasonable.]

That must be true... is there any way to make it appealing to those who have trouble with attendance?

[ She's thinking. ] The games should be enough, but maybe some kind of treat for coming again and again.

It's been talked about setting lessons up on the pads. So you don't even have to come all the time.

As beneficial as that may be, there's always the aspect of having someone there to help you learn that's being denied to those who choose to not attend.

[ It's the best they can do for now, she's sure. With how chaotic things have been, it must be hard to convince children to show up. ]
