[she's been getting pretty good at this typing thing, hence why her post today is in text, rather than anything else. It's good practice! Also she can't stop grinning so it's probably for the best considering what she's asking for today]

I require volunteers for something of an experiment. I am looking for those able to cast magic, and those willing to have magic cast upon them. I suppose one could say this is in the name of science, yes? And should one volunteer, all I require is an afternoon of your time.

There is no risk of harm or damage, of course. Except perhaps to one's dignity.

Oh, me personally, I like humans just fine! I think they have some issues to work through, certainly, but there is animosity centuries old that is difficult to eradicate, so a human would not be very welcome among many clans, but I rarely see unnecessary bloodshed. Keeper Marethari isn't fond of such extreme measures, and in that I agree with her.

Dalish clans aren't merely seen as threat because they carry elves, though, as many cities have alienages for city elves who forget their heritage. What they worry for are the mages free allowed in our clans, as mages are not meant to be free by the Chantry's laws. They label mages outside of the Circle as apostates, and normally hunt them down quite ferociously! However, they seem to leave the Dalish alone so long as we keep moving.

[ Now if only Marethari would MOVE THEIR CLAN AWAY FROM KIRKWALL, PLEASE. ]

Oh, don't worry. I've been walking around Kirkwall for a few years now right under the Chantry's nose and they ignore me! That may only be because I'm friends with Hawke, who is the Champion. Or at least you would think so, but then they took his sister to the Circle... Maybe they're simply not that intelligent and haven't figured it out, yet. The Templars certainly are stiff, at least, but they seem to be having their own problems as of late.

[ She'll ramble forever if you let her, stahp Merrill. ]

As far as I can tell, they are stuffy soldiers who work for the Chantry and hunt down apostates and maleficar to take back to a Circle or to destroy, depending on their danger I suppose.

[ THEY'D TRY TO KILL MERRILL SO FAST a million times over. ]

I don't know much about knights, but...perhaps? Wielded by the Chantry rather than any king. But the human's religion is so foreign to me, along with how they think of and treat magic. I think I could live a hundred years among them and still feel as if I know nothing.

Well, at least there is always room for learning!
