Well, there was me and Katara and my dad. We're from the Southern Water Tribe, at the South Pole. And, you know. We got split up a bit because of the war but everyone was back together again and the war was over and...yeah.

Now I'm here.

Cold! But I like it cold. And there was snow most of the time. We lived by the ocean.

And the Fire Nation was just trying to take over everyone because they were Fire Jerks.

so if where you live is called the water tribe because you're near the ocean, why is the other country called the fire nation? were there a lot of volcanoes or something?

Well, we're called the Water Tribe because we have people who can waterbend. The Fire Nation lives on a bunch of volcanic islands, but they firebend.

Bending is a way using mental and physical techniques to control a certain element. Water, fire, air, earth.
