Not wanting him here is selfish, but - if he were hurt or even worse, she's not sure what she would do. She wants to keep believing that he can't come here, that someday she can go back to him, to a world completely untouched by this horrible war.]

yeah. i mean if i had my way nobody would have to be stuck here obviously
