[ Now that a few days have already passed, there's not much point in moping quietly and ignoring the network for much longer. Hopefully things have settled down a bit by now... ]

It looks like people are already organizing a few missions of their own, which is all fine and good, but we need to look beyond supplies for the short term. Our new headquarters isn't fit for holding this many people, for who knows how long, so aside from supplies, I think we need to put an effort towards fixing that as soon as we can.

First and foremost, we need more power.

Especially if we want to get that Aristeas contraption back up and running. Obviously we don't have the tools and resources to fix that here and now, but I'm sure I can work out a few points in time where we can slip in and change how this place gets built. What I really need is anyone who can help out with the technical side of this, or even to lend a hand with the research, and a few volunteers to run around playing time tag. We're going to need to get our hands on and change blueprints and data and who knows what else.

[ Basically, a call for help. He might be in over his head on this one, with how much tech is going to be involved. That all rambled out, there's a small, awkward pause before he adds: ]

And hello to all the new Transports, I guess. When I first got stuck here, Exsilium had just gotten itself trashed by an army of monsters, but this arrival sure tops that one as the new worst entrance of all.

Considering I'd rather anyone I send out to focus on only the task at hand and not supplies, I can pretty much say right now they won't line up.

Saying I go for supplies was only meant to illustrate I'm fine with time travel and multitask when I can. Either way, if you ever need or want the help, I'm offering.

You could have just said that. I know that one clinic guy seemed worry about splitting all of our attentions too wide, that's all, but if you're game for both...

We've got a lot of problems that all need to be handled. We can't wait to tackle them one at a time or we'll be stuck here for years, but I get why he's worried about us spreading ourselves too thin.

Sure. I'll prioritize it over normal supply runs. We can deal with protein bars for a while or one of the other 200 and something Transports can fill in.

Too many different people fighting for limited resources, so yes, I can see why as well. We can hope it won't come to that, but I figure not having to worry about our limited power supply will definitely go towards alleviating some of that.

This is going to be one of those 'too many cooks in the kitchen' situations. A power supply that doesn't go to emergency levels every time we flip a switch will make planning things better. Once necessities are taken care of we'll be able to concentrate on something besides time traveling for food.

If you've got something you want not related to the power supply you can ping me for it, too. I'll see what I can do.

There's no way for us to know whether it would have or not. For all we know, the Initiative could have managed it upon trying and the United Earth would still have blasted Exsilium into oblivion.

[dryly muttered] I'd been wondering why they waited so long in the first place, but I think we've got our answer.

They waited until the pros of keeping it around outweighed the cons, basically.
