Joel nods his thanks as he carefully reaches out to take the cup. It ain't exactly what he wanted but... he was a little thirsty, so...

He's quiet as he takes the first gulp.]

[Ellie can tell she's not going to get any answers out of him right now. She sighs in defeat. Fine. She's not in the mood to pry anything out of him, anyway.

After he's got that gulp down, Ellie invites herself onto the bed, scooting into the available space, shoulder touching his arm. Her sneakers thud against the floor--she's staying for a while.
