[Alright, while Alex has used the video function several times already, this will be her first attempt at publicly addressing the network.

U-Um... hello. My name is Alex Benedetto, and I arrived here at the beginning of the month.

[Hard to believe it's already going to be September. Time flies when you're forced into a war effort.] I'd like to thank everyone who's helped me out so far. It's been... really helpful in getting a grasp on what's really going on.

[Bit of a lie. She's still somewhat lost and in disbelief, but at least she's not showing it as much.]

I did have a question, though.

My doctor hasn't been brought here, and I was wondering if there were any among the Transports. The Initiative has been pretty helpful to me so far, but... It couldn't hurt to know of others I could visit.

[Alex turns off her device and heads towards the exit of her room. Though she didn't mind the cots, it was nice to be able to have a bed of her own, even if she had been used to living in the cramped apartment with Worick and Nicolas. Her new roommates seemed nice enough, and she hoped that they would all get along with each other.

Thinking that now would be a good time to do a bit of bonding, Alex finally left her bedroom proper to take a look around.]

That's a relief. A place like this would have a pretty big need for so many doctors and, uh, healers. [That's how you should call then, right?]

You are not familiar with healers, I take it.

I've only really had experience with your typical doctor, so... But it sounds like they're both pretty similar.

Ah... not really. Are you?

Not until recently have I learned that magic is real. The healers of this place are mostly known for their magic. Some are more powerful than others, but they are just the same in healing.

I wonder what it's like, being able to use magic... [It sounds pretty neat, honestly.] Do you think they're able to cure anything?

They say they can, but how much or what exactly, I don't know. It's different from healer to healer.

It's pretty amazing, that people out there can do so much... [Meanwhile, guess who's average as average can be.]

[If it's any consolation, all he can do has been out of years and years of training and suffering.]
