text; anonymous (how rare)

I have some questions for those of you who have Weaponized either yourself or an ability/power that you possessed before coming to Exsilium.

Have you noticed any ill effects from your Weapon? Whether obvious or subtle, I'd even be interested in hearing about suspicions, if you don't have any solid evidence of ill effects. How have you and your abilities developed over time? And do you think you made the right choice?

If you're thinking about changing your Weapon to something like this, I'd be intereted in knowing your reasoning, too.

Feel free to answer some or all of the questions, and of course you can use the anonymous and/or private feature if you'd prefer.

Thank you for your time.

I had been concerned about your later suggestion, though I apologize for questioning your purposes if this is the case.

[He said this, staring somewhat dumbfounded towards his tablet, since he didn't know how to privatize conversations at all.]

...Admittedly, on my own front, I do not believe I possess a weapon with effects that may cause me harm or undue stress. Have you met someone whose weapon causes them such issues?

...Well, my weapon causes me problems if it's misused. I had to experiment awhile before it actually became something I could use often enough.

( loping off the couch and ambling over to Max, Donny still has the little pillow in hand.)

Chocolate and um, o-orange? Or m-maybe-- I c-could m-make like, apple and cinnamon?

( don't mind him, he's just gently looming, trying not to smile at Max teasing the kitten.)

More than a year now. Too damn long, in my opinion. If you're looking for a power-to-time ratio, I wouldn't use my case for reference. These powers have a tendency to only show up if you need them.

I just hadn't needed them up until then, you see.

Why is that?

[He's mostly curious. He could have chosen his bow, but here, it's not so easy to hide when your name's on everything.]

[There's a long pause while he debates on the probability of this being an Assassin asking this question. There just aren't that many of them in the city that he knows of, however, and he's actually curious about this whole thing himself.]

Myself--my body, specifically. Increased strength and agility.

Are you thinking of changing your weapon?

It's not a typical weapon, and due to various reasons I tend to avoid wearing it whenever I can. But you're right; I think it's safe to assume that training with them would help to bring out their potential, though at a slower and steadier pace.

Well-- It used to be that if I drank it when I was perfectly healthy, I would reject it immediately and vomit as if I were terribly sick. If I were exhausted or utterly drained of stamina, though--it would completely revitalize me.

After using it numerous times, whenever I drink it and I'm feeling healthy--it provides me with a massive boost of strength. So, I think my body had adjusted to using it, but... I suppose the downside is that such a thing could cause painful strain to my heart and lungs after an excess of use.

You may assume I come from a place in which double-edged swords are the only weapons you may handle to any great extent.

In combat, you risk your life already. If you aren't willing to live with risk as a possibility, I see why one might dislike the nature of that double-edged sword.
