I am looking for work.
I used to sell wares. I can also clean and organize and lift heavy things. [ she should probably clarify she has no superhuman strength but she wants a job so. ]
It needs to pay.
LOCKED to Jesse
I made cookies. Do you want to try them?

Arya is... a little younger than she thought. But she pays no mind to it. Just stepping back to let her in through the door. ]
Greetings. Glad to see you are punctual. [ It's a sort of clipped way of speaking. ]

[ she walks in and looks around without making it obvious she is. she left her sword too, but she has her gun and various knives hidden on her just to be safe. ]
Where do you want me to start?
no subject
I'll expect you here by six in the morning and nine in the evening. I'll contact you if it is otherwise. In the morning I'll ask you to come in with a glass of wine, and then I'll instruct which clothes I'll be wearing and then you shall help me dress in them. You'll put away my night clothes, make my bed, tidy up any other mess around my quarters, though stay out of the others rooms. Sort my sewing, and should I find work as a tutor, my books will be organized as well. [ She opened the door to her room and it was sparse to say the least, but it was neat. Not that much work, though over her desk the dress she'd been sewing by hand was in many pieces and strips of material that she'd cut off were scattered about the floor. ] Wash up my dishes, put them away, dust what needs dusting, so on so forth -- then if you like you may take from the food and wine that is mine before you go. Evening will be similar, only helping me out of my clothes.
Are there any questions?
no subject
No, my lady.

Now, would you like to be paid all at once, or at the end of each fortnight?

Who was -- oh blast she'd forgot to ask for a name again. Things were easier when everyone was just announced. ] Girl, what is your name?

[ She sat on the edge of her bed as she sorted out the coins for payment. Half now, half later then. Then holding Cat's portion to her. ] Here.
no subject
Thank you, my lady. If you will excuse me.
[ and she turns around to start wherever it is she can. she works quickly and, most of all, quietly. ]

And she was happy to stay in silence for awhile at least. ]
Do you sew, Cat?
no subject
No, my lady.
no subject
[ She fell back into silence for awhile again. ] When you are done with that, come here.
no subject
[ the girl keeps just out of reach. ]
no subject
Come, I need your arm to see how it hangs.

You are doing very well. [ Then she fetched out a pin, kneeling next to the sleeves and began folding the hem carefully. ] Whom did you serve, before?
no subject
no subject
... damn.
That wasn't expected. ]
I am sure she is. [ She would have to be. But, no good sharing her opinion otherwise. ] I am afraid I won't be as exciting as that perhaps was.
