You have a goal in mind? Something you want to accomplish? Then it doesn't matter for crap what's on the side that you do or don't want. You just put up with it. Or else you go nowhere.

So make up a fake identity. Or just deal with it.

Um, terribly sorry to interrupt but one tiny, tiny aside that might be worth taking into account: considering your options and trying to find ways around issues you'd rather avoid doesn't mean you'll go nowhere, per se.

( A beat, and she sips her coffee. ) Or that you're a coward, for that matter. Sometimes you simply must take the good with the bad, but certainly the weight on you and consequences and all that nonsense that will run alongside it are worth considering. Putting up with it isn't always the healthiest method. Goals can be adjusted, methods revised, but wanting to evade the bad doesn't mean you go nowhere.
