I'm curious, guys. How different is it here, compared to your homes? And if it is different, is it in good ways or bad ones?

Gotcha. That was as close as we'll get to goin' to my home again, I think. When it's in one piece, that is. When we went to go save that guy's world after the UE took it over, I went to New York and it was 2002. I'm from there in 2012. It was... kinda freaky. I don't think it was my world, but it was real goddamn close.

Feels like there's a couple parallels that are really close. Like, scary close.

I guess you'd miss your world if it blew up, huh?

I don't plan to go back there, but I don't wanna see the whole thing destroyed and everyone killed, either.

Yeah. Besides my family 'n' stuff bein' there, I mean.... seven billion people with their own lives, too. It's just not the place for me.

It's not that I don't want to, but I can't. It's complicated.

... Long story short is some people are out to find me, and I gotta stay away from my family so they stay safe.

[He shrugs lightly.] It's worked out in a way. They're safe, and I got a place to live. And no one here's tryin' to kill me. Well, me specifically. [UE attacks notwithstanding.]

Yeah, I guess it is a lot of ups. Why are people trying to kill you, though?

For most of my life I didn't know what I was. Turns out I'm half demon, and it also turns out that no one wants half demons alive, especially actual demons. And angels.
