The bitterness, she knows that sort of bitterness. But she cannot work out where from, and she plans to until he says that.

That is not the fault of Christ, he died hundreds and hundreds of years ago, his is ancient even to me. Christ teachings are that of compassion. [ a tolerance no one seemed to be capable of. ] But men are men, and are too fallible by half. [ She went still voice caught in her throat and strained. ] Her Kings have failed her, and this Kingdom has fallen now from what she once was.

[ A private nightmare to be here, and there is bitterness in her own words enough to match his own. ]
