I have become vaguely aware of concepts such as birthday punches, but I feel that birthday shots are infinitely more appealing.

What sort of drinks do you have back home?

Ale, mead, wine, dwarf spirits, and cactus juice, a local favorite. Less variety of liquor, but not too different from what's available here.

Dwarf spirits and cactus juice are things I have never heard of before and, as such, feel certain I must try. I don't imagine they've made any appearances in the venues of our fair city thus far, have they?
