[A rare video feed from Kaneis comes on, partly because one of his roommates had to turn on the tablet. It becomes quickly apparently why- it seems his hands and locks of his hair are tangled up with strips of brightly colored leopard print duct tape. Someone attempted to do home repairs when they knew absolutely nothing about home repair. The background shows one giant hole in the wall about six inches in diameter, just to give you an idea. Allen is next to him, trying to get some of the duct tape off]

Okay okay- I'll ask! Just get me outta this stuff!

[He gives a huff and looks at the camera. He looks rather disgruntled]

Say, does anyone out there know where a person can get a couch? Ours kinda...got wrecked the other day and we can't fix it.

Oh and, stuff to seal up holes in the wall? That'd be good too.

I'll handle the walls. I've got a few spare boards from fixing this place up.

[And unfazed by Kaneis's bellyaching, he grabs another piece to rip out. He leaves you alone for two seconds...]

And here I was going to be impressed at your skill with tape. [That being said...] Would you like me to tell you how to fix your couch or show you?

Oh...right. Good point. I didn't think about it.

[There may be a distinct reason why he's at the clinic and not any of the reconstruction teams........]

Well, if you don't mind I'd like that! I can give you some money or food for it.

[This is so not what Emil expected when he asked to stay over for a little while, but here he is. With no immediate things to do, he's looking around the room and trying to see if there's anything around the place that might help get the tape out.]

Is there any way to do it more gently? It sounds kind of painful.

Well, that and some water damage around it.

We're almost done with the actual rebuilding. It just needs some paint.

[He waves a hand at the walls behind him.]

Keep an eye out for tables while you're hunting for a new couch, we'll call it even.

Oh...I think we got some extra of that if you need it. We kiiinda went crazy in a paint shop once.
