One, has anyone ever spoken to any of the UE soldiers, our 'enemies'?  

Two, we have lost some of our own.  What mourning rituals do we have?  We need a way to honor what has been lost if we hope to move on without hate.

You know, I've been wondering that about UE myself. They're totally faceless. Apparently they're run by an AI though, so...

I'd guess they make drone people out of regular people. You can do some messed up stuff to people if you get them when they're young.

I'm planning on performing a traditional funeral ritual of my faith for Adam. He was a protector once, and I intend to honor him for it. I even found my book of prayers and I'm reviewing them. He may not have worshipped my god, but I think I can at least hope he gets comfort wherever he is now.

Well, it requires a ritual duel of three blows, thrown at someone who blocks them all - that's why it's ritual, it's not a real fight - one of whom is garbed specifically to represent my god Helm. It's meant to symbolically open the doorway to the House of the Triad - the realm of the three allied gods of Guardians, Duty and Justice - and allow the deceased into their afterlife.

Actually, you'd make a good Helm. He wears his armor at all times. And I think that someone whose asked a question like you did would be quite acceptable to him. If you would be willing.
