So there's this subculture-slash-fashion trend called hipsters, and they're kind of universally disdained for thinking they're really unique because they don't enjoy anything.

Anyway, hipsters tend to let themselves get pretty scruffy because... actually I don't know why. I guess they think it looks cool? It doesn't, because it looks like the photo I just sent (don't ask me why I have that photo, I think someone took my phone while I was at some party).
So basically my point was going to be don't let it get that bad, because no one wants to look like a hipster, even people from universes without hipsters. I think this explanation got a bit away from me, though.
