Well, at this point, I've got a hell of a lot of story. Which part do you want?

Ah, I wouldn't know where to start to ask.

I'm not sure I'd know where to start, either. Mutant. Soldier. Chosen One. Father. Son. All me.

"Chosen One" is a little unexpected in a list like that.

[To be fair, labelling yourself 'Chosen One' tends to be kind of eyebrow-raising]

I was... picked, and raised to end a tyrant's reign. The title is a little self-important sounding, I know.

I succeeded, but not without loss.

Then again, that's how most wars go.

I suppose so. But then, any life can be reduced down to such short phrases, no matter how they go. That doesn't make them any less important, though.

True. Still - I saved the damned world, and all I can remember is what I lost doing it.

I think something like that is always the case, in a situation like that. I'm more familiar with it on a smaller scale, but, I think human nature is consistent.
