[If Nate sounds tired and cranky, it's because he is. Still injured from the mission, having the psychic feedback of everyone grumpy about the whole exploding spaceship thing bouncing around his head - yeah. Not a happy camper here. Which is probably also why he sounds a bit defensive.]

Yeah. Most of them teleported off before we crashed - I stayed on along with our pilot because I could blunt the impact with TK.

Well, it's pretty common for telepathy and telekinesis to manifest together, and those are all I have.

Apparently I took to them rather easily when I was young [and he is so not mentioning how rare manifestation at that age is, on his world] - but I had some... health problems that made managing them difficult when I got older.

Yeah, I've seen it happen a few times to others - psis seem to get it worse, but our powers are mentally taxing, too.

People with mind powers like telepathy, empathy, or telekinesis. There's a few more specialized ones, like people who can get psychic imprints off of objects. I'm a telepath and a telekinetic.
