[If Nate sounds tired and cranky, it's because he is. Still injured from the mission, having the psychic feedback of everyone grumpy about the whole exploding spaceship thing bouncing around his head - yeah. Not a happy camper here. Which is probably also why he sounds a bit defensive.]
Look, at least nobody died, alright?

[...Yeah, he looks about as tired as he sounds. Sorry, new roomies.]
Hi. I'm Nathan. Don't touch my stuff. That goes double for the coffee - and if you do, I'll know.

You can really only manage supply lines with a large army, though. Small groups - you move too fast for the line to keep up, and you can't protect it well enough. Safer for everyone to do food yourself.

Ahh. I've managed both, but my experience is more with small units. Better tactically, when the raw numbers are against you.
There's some ways of making pre-prepped food a little more palatable, but some of it depends on what tech level you have along for the ride.

Not sure. A lot of it would have been developed by now in my own timeline, but we never had nuclear winter to deal with.

Hey, at least the MREs have gotten better since the 80s.

[Nate can't help but laugh] Yeah. Now they actually mostly look like food.
