Because I've forgotten how to be direct in my impending old age.

And I don't see the point of detailing my mediocrity for someone who claims they wouldn't be able to understand it anyway.

They can read this, too, you know, and I wouldn't mind being a little mysterious. Much like the people who never show their face on these things, hmmm?
