002 ( video / open action )
[oh, hello, exsilium-- have a redhead waving at the screen in greeting.]
The weather here's a little discouraging, isn't it? I know I personally would much rather stay under the covers and sip hot chocolate on cold rainy days than force myself to go out, but...
That's also not productive and gets really boring, you know? [she smiles then, slowly growing more confident in her words the more she talks.]
Which is why I thought to myself, Ringo, is there something that would still be fun and easy to do even with this weather?
Why, reading to the relaxing sound of the rain, of course! Reading is essentially a solitary activity, but I do think it could be fun with more people, especially if we're taking turns with picking what to read and we could get together and talk about it over some snacks and a light atmosphere.
[she pauses to let that all sink in and make sure she'd gotten the basic idea out there.] Uhm, so just let me know if you're interested, I guess! Or come by the library, I'll probably be here a while.
[She takes a deep breath once she's done with the broadcast and heads back inside the library, returning to her previously occupied table by the fiction section. Not that it mattered much-- books on science fiction and trashy romance novels littered her side of the table as well as a notebook (with pages ripped out and crumpled around it) which she seemed to be taking notes on, the current page being a mix of underlined titles such as "BOOK CLUB" IDEAS?? and little heart doodles with I+R on the side that had been scribbled over in embarrassment.
...Yeah, real productive, Ringo.]
