[Balder is apparently in the outlands, the view as cheerful as ever. He's petting the head of a hideously mutated beast that looks like it might have been a rhino but was more likely a very strange and unlucky deer.]
I have been wondering if I might acquire a pet for company, but it seems difficult to find beasts that I recognize. A bird, perhaps.
I am also thinking of journeying away from this island soon. I would see it for myself--this "United Earth". Any of you who wish to come are welcome to join me. Does anyone know if there are boats available or if I must build one?
