So, um, first off I just wanted to say hi to all the new people! And say that I'm sorry you're kind of stuck here, too. It's tough, but there are lots of nice people here, so if you're having trouble with anything I bet you'd be able to get help. Except going home, that's still a mystery for everyone.

[And then a smile breaks out on her face, and she moves her tablet so the feed shows a wing of one of the gyms with a barre running along a wall, and mirrors attached to that wall. As quickly as she turned the camera away from her face, it's focused back on her.]

I know last time that I mentioned I was looking for a place to dance, and some other people mentioned they'd be interested in the same thing, so I asked the Initiative people if it would be okay if we could have a wing in one of the gyms to turn into a place for the dancers here to practice. And, um, they said yes, so here we are! There's not going to be formal lessons or anything, unless somebody else wants to set something like that up. I just wanted to let everyone know that they can stop in whenever they want to!

Oh, and - if there's anybody interested in going outside the city sometime, I'm looking to take a trip or two. Before anyone gets all worried, I know to be really careful, and I've done it once before.

We do, but I still can't help myself. It's hard from a mother to be parted from her children.

Yeah, I can't even imagine what that might be like. I mean, I had loved ones, but I would think blood relatives would be a lot harder, especially children.

It's hard for everyone who is seperated from loved ones, no doubt.

...I wouldn't count on that if I were you. I mean, there are people who've been here since July, and wars can take years and years to end! Although, I guess that would seem soon to you.

Sooner than to most but I know well how long wars last. I spent a great deal of time worrying for Elrond and that was before either of us were betrothed.

Was your world in a war?

During the Second Age, towards the end of it, yes.

The Second Age? What does that mean?

It's how we record time. I was boring during the Second Age, wed and had children during the Third Age.

Oh! How long is an age?

It depends on what happens during an age. The Second Age ended with the fall of Sauron.

Who's Sauron?

Nobody that you'd like to meet or learn about. Trust me.

Well... I trust your judgment, but you don't have to worry about upsetting me or anything.

It's not that. It was a time in my world that nobody wants their thoughts to dwell on.

Oh, jeez, I'm sorry if I brought up something that's stressful! I didn't mean to.

It's alright, there are others who have worse memories of that time.
