I am out of money.

[ This is clearly distressing - how is he gonna build his hoard now? He has collected several different kinds of glass bottles already. He's been collecting rocks as well, along with sheets of paper, tattered magazines, and different kinds of toy balls and horseshoes. He needs to get more more more. ]

I was told I can get more by getting a job. Doing things and in return I get money.

How do I get one? I don't know how it all works.

It's when you set aside money for stuff. That way you don't run out before you get all the things you really need.

You get the same allowance everybody else does, right?

I eat a lot of bats back home, but I can't find many here, or they live in places that is inaccessible. So I buy a lot. One cooked chicken a day usually helps.

You'd have to promise you weren't gonna eat all the ones I turn up, but I could give you a heads up the next time I see any. I kind of have a knack for finding those guys.
