This country used to be where I lived before I was brought here. Or a version of it, I suppose, since now the idea of alternate realities has been thrown at me.

Yes, I can imagine that Big Brother is quite a nuisance. Still, Japan has always been historically resilient. They could be doing fine.

I have read that there are wild things, and there certainly used to be wildlife while I lived here. Even though it is an island it is quite big.
