What moron's in charge of the machine that's bringing in the new people.  It's like they decided to say the hell with trying to win this war, we're just going to keep throwing bodies at it till something works.

Anyway.  Back to normal, blah blah.  I'd apologize for what an asshole I grow up to be, but I can't really remember too much of what he did [ He's lying. ], so there's not much point.  Just be glad I'm back to my regular charming self.

But uh.  There's a reason for this besides the not-apology.  I don't exactly have anyone specific I can ask, because.  Well, because.  So I figured I'd just kinda throw it out there.

So, uh.  How does dating work?

I mean, I'm not a total social reject, I know how it works normally, but for like a specific girl.  And okay, the last date I went on back home didn't go too hot anyway.

Yeah, I do think jerking Collette around would be the fastest way to get one the bad side of a number of people, so I kinda have to assume you're pretty serious about this--unless you got a deathwish or something.

As for the advice you were asking for... she's a wild one, so don't be boring by taking her out for dinner or something, but that doesn't mean she can't be romantic. She likes compliments and a guy that's being attentive as much as any other girl. So, pay attention, and let her know you're paying attention.

Oh, and buy her a drink if you can, somehow. One drink. Milkshakes are good, too, and decidedly more legal.

Do you need some? I keep telling her some booze works miracles when dating a guy, maybe she'll finally believe it. Besides, I think she'd appreciate the thrill that comes with doing something forbidden, even if it's minor like this. It's part of growing up.

I'd rather know when and how you're getting stuff like this, yes, than run the risk of you doing something stupid when adults aren't looking. I was a teenager once, too.
