[ Sad small children what to do. Max just squeezes her hand a little, tries to give her some sense of comfort and smooth away the fear. It's coming easier the past few days, the empathy. She's not sure if it's because she's used it more regularly than she has in years or if this is the promised change, but regardless. She can use it to help, hopefully. ]

Just a couple minutes and then you can drink something warm and get dry and lie down, all right?
