I get that we're here to help save worlds and all that, but I can't help but wonder. I've been here a month now, and other than that monster thing that was going down when I got here, we haven't really done anything significant other than train.

Anyone know when we'll actually be told to go somewhere?

[A part of him's thankful that he hasn't had to do anything dangerous as of yet, but the whole thing is a bit strange to him, to be inactive this long.]

Mostly. I did have someone I know from home here, but she's proving herself scarce, which is kind of odd.

( She grins, looking away after saying as much. Really, she'll just reach out and rub some of that fabric between her fingers. )

I actually want to wear it, which is way better than most the dresses I've ever seen. Thank you!

( She hates admitting it, but she can't be fast at this. )

[He takes the dress down from its hangar, folds it carefully and hands it to Collette.]

It might be a bit tight in the legs, but that's how it's supposed to be. I figured you wouldn't mind too much.

( Collecting it in her lap, she hums her assent and understanding of what he's saying. Tight is fine by her, as long as the material doesn't tear or bunch too easily.

Still, once she's in his room and staring this thing down, Collette grimaces. Okay, what to do?

Apparently the answer is stubborn her way through, though it's admittedly fifteen minutes later before she emerges, looking a little frazzled, and unaware of the cowlick of hair that's sticking up on top of her head.

The dress is on! She's managed that much. )

Finally! Okay, does this look anything like what it's supposed to now that it's on?

[In the meantime, Minato decides to make tea. Would have been coffee, but coffee stains and he'd rather not risk that.]

[Once Collette comes out he grabs a few pins and starts to look it over.]

Pretty much, yeah. Just gotta tend to the details. Is anywhere feel too tight, or too loose?

It all feels too tight. I never wear stuff like this.

( She grins, nose wrinkling as she leans forward and reaches down to touch her toes. )

As long as it can handle that, it should be okay. Nothing ripped, right?

No rips... nothing in danger of ripping... I'll have to make a few more adjustments, but it'll be simple.

( She twists her torso this way, then that way, getting a sense for movement in what he's made. )

Girly's not a bad thing to feel. Really, it feels fine! Nothing itches or pulls or does anything weird. Though I'll probably have to decide on a new bra, or no bra, when I wear this thing for reals.

( She plucks at a black strap, shaking her head with a small grin. Ugh, more details to think about! )

Everything looks good, in that case. You can go take it off now. I'll make the last finishing touches and deliver it to you tonight or tomorrow.

( It's parting words before she overtakes his bedroom again for the undressing process. She's more careful with this, not wanting to rip the dress, than she was in getting undressed the first time.

Nonetheless, she pops back out and nods her head back to his room once she's ready. )
