I get that we're here to help save worlds and all that, but I can't help but wonder. I've been here a month now, and other than that monster thing that was going down when I got here, we haven't really done anything significant other than train.

Anyone know when we'll actually be told to go somewhere?

[A part of him's thankful that he hasn't had to do anything dangerous as of yet, but the whole thing is a bit strange to him, to be inactive this long.]

Nice to meet you. [He'd try to peg down her country of origin, as well, but with a name like "Kate" it could be pretty much anywhere in America or Europe.]

Which part? I've been to Tokyo once. Beautiful city.

I've moved all around. Tokyo's a nice place to visit, but not the best place to live. Crowded, even for Japan.

Either way, I'd rather stay near the coast.

I'm more a city person than I am a country person, but I prefer more moderate-sized cities. Not the big ones. Big enough to have stuff to do, small enough to where you don't have to deal with pedestrian traffic.

Luckily I never took the subway in Tokyo.

Iwatodai. It's a harbor city on the Pacific side of the main island.
