[ he hoards things to think about later. there's a steady stream that needs to be digested and if he finds stuff in his chipmunk-cheeked brain later on when the foraging gets rough then it's just that much better for everyone involved ]

Means I have a pretty open calendar. [ And, please, he'd really like to fill it. Things to occupy the time. ]
