Preferably two-handed and not light in the slightest. The pommel need not be fancy, but the hilt should be easy to grip if the wearer has gauntlets or leather gloves on.

[ She doesn't even look like she can hold a rapier, much less the kind of sword she's describing. ] Also seeking a thick armor fit for a young man, preferably leather so there are no complications in our training. Should you be able to provide this, I would be indebted to you. Money is something I do not have, but there are other negotiations that could be had in this realm.

With that inquiry out, should any of you find yourself interested in learning how to properly wield a sword, plans should be made to speak in person. Substitutes will be provided so long as you are willing to take on my current apprentice in your training. While information yields favorable results, such things are unnecessary for me. [ As a Servant, she has the high ranking skill 'Instinct' that provides a sixth sense for her in battle. Therefore she must only do what she feels is right. ] Training and defending those who need it are better suited for a knight of my ability.

It is the refined wisdom of Guilliman Roboute and his fellow Primarchs, sons of the God-Emperor of mankind and the greatest warriors that humanity has ever spawned. Nearly every space marine chapter follows it and venerates it to a greater or lesser degree. [ Except for the Space Wolves and the Black Templars but fuck those guys. ]

It is a book of war that encompasses battle from the close in hand to hand brawling of single combat to the deployment and use of entire void-fleets of warships.

Well, I say book, but is a library or more in size, all inscribed by hand by Roboute himself, though various copies have been made in various media. All Space Marines memorize parts of it, and the best memorize and obey the whole.

[ Just as she thought from the single word 'codex' along; it must be the rites that the warriors of his time follow. Listening intently, she tries to apply his words to terms familiar with herself: space marine chapter for knights of other lands, warships for vessels of war, and this Roboute as their lord.

Just what were they good at other than obeying this codex?

Conquering a galaxy. Protecting humanity from the xeno, the heretic, and the daemon for 10,000 years.

What sort of metal do you want for the blades?

I'm fairly proficient in leatherworking and skinning. Would you be able to give me his measurements so that I can begin working?

How much do you know in terms of fighting? I don't think I've ever seen a woman so skilled before.

How does one acquire the measurements of their ally?

Basic swordsmanship with a combination of European techniques.

[ Even if she was 'familiar' enough with the concept of variety of names for the Eastern half of the world in regards to swordsmanship, there's no way a woman from the Western half could accurately teach someone from that style with confidence. ]

One would have to build their strength up first to be able to use a sword that requires two hands. Have you had much physical training?

Yes. Anywhere within the light of the Astronomican, and in some places beyond, were within our purview. Even as far as the Halo Stars, though my chapter was specifically tasked with protecting the Reef Stars region, something we have done with pride.

These enemies are extremely common, some of them before the Heresy, some afterwards.
