[There's only so long Rinoa can go without poking at the network, even if she has had a few dubiously enlightening conversations with various people already. Whether Rika really believed she'd find her friends by using the network, Rinoa really can't say; however, if nothing else showing her face would probably flush out anyone she knows if they're around. Not to mention it really does seem to be tradition to introduce yourself on this thing. Go figure.]

[So she starts up the camera on her device without even fumbling over the controls and then offers any potential viewers both a cheerful wave.]

Hey there! Sorry if this gets asked a ton, but I'm still a little fuzzy on just what we're fighting for. I'm sure they tried to tell me the other day, but it all started running together partway through.

[Too much information at once. Which is why she's spent a while poking around on the network, but honestly she's probably more confused now than she was when she started.]

My name's Rinoa, by the way. I guess it's probably pretty obvious that I haven't been here very long yet.

We are an old nation. There are many traditions I have yet to see in people that come here.

Technically we are suppose to be fighting a war, not that it seems like it.

So does the fighting not happen very often then?

It seems we go back in time once a month though I have heard they have small groups happening more regularly. The fighting on this time has been not as frequent as it may seem.

So we go to different time periods to fight the same people, and sometimes we fight them here too. Is that right?

[onemoredeath]

No. We fight different people on different times and different places. The U.E. is who we fight here.

I thought we were brought here just to fight the U.E. people or... something like that. So why are we fighting the other people?

The people we fight have something that is needed in their time. We take it or re-route it in order to change things in this time.

So they're sending us back in time to change history?

[Rinoa's apparently stuck with time travel no matter where she goes, so uncool.]

Yes. Change things so that the U.E. is weakened and the world is liveable again.

So they're trying to make it so that the world doesn't ever get this bad?

[That seems logical enough, at least it's the sort of logic Rinoa can accept anyway.]

I thought you couldn't change the present in the past? Or does that work differently here.

We can though I am not sure how that is. Maybe us Transports are outside the normal time unlike the regular world.

I guess so. I'm not exactly good with this sort of stuff.

I've had months to get use to the idea as well.

I'd say ask me if I was used to it in a few months, but I doubt I will be.

Does "forgetting about it until someone brings it up again" count as a way of thinking on things?

I suppose that all depends upon how well they deal with things, yes.
