Good day, I am Balder Odinson, brother to Thor and Loki and former King of Asgard.

I have been here but a short time but already I have met those who are not warriors. It seems dangerous to walk these streets unable to defend oneself, so I would be happy to teach any comers the basics. I am a swordsman and can teach hand-to-hand and other forms and weaponry as well as defensive strategies.

For those who can already fight, I invite you to spar with me. I have been fighting the same enemy for too long, and that tends to dull one's abilities.

Swords. I was trained in the art of the samurai while I was in Japan. Aside from that, fisticuffs would be my second choice.

I can go for range or close combat, I've got a battle axe and a guitar that can do a bunch of different shit depending on how I play it.

Heavy Metal is a pretty awesome genre of music. Sometimes bands would play songs about Ragnarok or killing orcs and demons, shit like that. Believe me, that summary of Heavy Metal doesn't do it justice. I just need to track down some good cassette tapes or CDs or whatever it is people use these days, and I can show you guys some of the good stuff.

Yeah. I can do stuff like call down bolts of lightning, summon vehicles, change the weather, or even melt people's freakin' faces off.

I have to admit, I'm gonna feel a little awkward if an orc shows up. I mean shit, there are plenty of songs about killing dragons, and I've already met one here. He wasn't that bad of a guy, either.

I'll be happy to show off what I've got, though. I'd feel more comfortable if you guys know my limits if we get in a fight. Cover each other's weaknesses, you know?
