[Alright, so Hawkeye may, in fact, have spent some time going through the device and getting familiar with it, and he may have read up on the situation at hand, but he's not one to run in without a plan. Well, not into all-out war, anyway. He may also have noticed some familiar people in the archives.

Unobtrusive, he stands in a corner of the banquet hall, sending out a short message:]

I heard there's some things that need shooting. My kind of welcome.

Can't do much, I guess.

So I took a while to read up on things, but if you've got warnings, now's the best time for them. I like to head things off.

Warnings... For one, both sides to this war are not what you might find in your original world. Some will call the Initiative just as bad, but I do not think them as such. They only seem to be clueless as to how to deal with people that still retain a mind but they are not too evil. As for other Transports...

I do believe there is one we were warned about. A Prince Arthas Menethil, though they called him the Lich King. I gather that he is someone to stay far away from. Other dangerous people haven't turned on each other yet, though sometimes power do go out of control.

I also know that the lands outside of the city can wild with mutated creatures and strange plants. There are things that can be found, mind, but you always should be careful moving beyond the city.

Are we talking plants I really need to worry about attacking me?

Some might be, yes. The animals are of larger sizes and not as easily harmed as they should be.

I'm not that worried about animals.

Oh? I suppose you have dragons and other intelligent creatures in your world?

Aliens, apparently.

And here, we are the aliens. We also are working with some and there are dragons and talking hedgehogs among our numbers.

Hedgehogs?

Yes. One is called Sonic and the other considers himself a perfect being.

Sonic... the hedgehog?

That is the one.

That sounds special.

I suppose. He was chatting about making the planet greener through our trips in time.

An environmentally conscious hedgehog. Alright, this place is weirder than advertised.

It could be worse. We could all be ponies.

That sounds like the voice of experience.

I am among the first groups to arrive here.

Got it. So it's crazy here?

Yes. It can be very crazy here, though nothing to the point of us waking up in different bodies.

Different bodies doesn't sound like something I want to see.

It is not. Some may enjoy the idea of waking up as an alien but I am too comfortable in my own skin to want that.

It just sounds creepy. Besides, I'm not that big on aliens to begin with.

From what a few of our space travelers tell us, the aliens are as mixed as humanity can be.

I don't doubt they've got the variety, but I don't want to be body-snatched.
