My name is Adam Warlock. I'm usually an expert on temporal phenomenon, but in the last two missions I've seen timelines being altered with apparently none of the consequences. Though there are many variable that could be considered a 'consequence', it's still not what I was expecting.

It's distressing to know that what I thought I knew does not apply here, or that the laws here are different. But seeing as my meta-talents are working more or less the same, I think it's the former.

I'm looking to understand how the Initiative works with timelines. If anyone has any information, it is much appreciated.

Perhaps we have changed naught, and have merely ensured that events played out as the Intitiative has already written.

There's a legitimate concern and reason for that.

I'm not sure. I'm assuming each of us is interfering with two timelines, or realities. I would guess it would not affect our own memories because we exist in a third.

What kind of consequences are their supposed to be? According to what you were thinking it should be.

I would say very reckless, but I'm not familiar with the technology they're using to get us around. They're not very forth coming with the information either.

Bottom line, we don't know what we're changing, and how we could change as a result of that. I would rest easier knowing how they're doing this.

Disruption of cosmic harmony. To the best of my knowledge, altering history makes for an unstable universe. We could be a catalyst away from a massive rip in space-time.

Interesting. It is possible, but changing history is a big risk for ensuring events that has already been written.

If we're following the laws of my universe, I would expect something along the lines of spatial rips or temporal dislocations for the Transports on these missions. It could be any anomaly. Seeing as I'm still here and relatively sane, I would say that that's not happening.

Great. Because we all needed more problems with timelines and flarking around with them.

I'm a transport, but I'm also a research associate in the Hold. I took up the job for that very reason; to get a better understanding of just what the hell they were doing to causality as I knew it.

So far... it's given me only theories, but some are more sound than others.

Same, for sure. Doubt they'll be all that keen on sharing, but that doesn't mean it's impossible.

So you manage this sort of thing day in and day out? Sounds taxing.

What would be needed of the catalyst?

If that is what is happening, I very much doubt they know they are doing it.

My biggest fear is that they don't know how it works either. And there's no way of knowing what they do isn't affect our own universe.

I do, in my own universe. I can't say I'm much use here.

It's a good question. It could be anything or nothing at all. There's no satisfying answer I can give you until I look further into this.

It's your choice whether you consider waiting for an unexpected occurrence to trigger an event good or bad. We have time, but we don't know how much of it.
