[A deep, vaguely feminine voice comes through the audio feed. It seems like its owner is practiced at addressing people in this way, concise and confident with the words.] New arrival. I am not the only one. That is my understanding. Many faces, strange faces. Fear and uncertainty. Emerging from the tunnels. Many species.

[A pause for consideration.] Light exists here. A good sign. Literal light. I have been to worlds with no day. I feared this was the same. A better sign: hope persists.

A purpose here. I will assume one. Where is assistance needed?
