So, I've just gotta ask. How many people's parents here went to Woodstock? Because I've been hearing some pretty groovy names being tossed about.
[A pause, and Sam's voice sounds a little more amused as he continues.]
Or what about people named after their grandmothers? I know at least one.
[Totally not talking about you, Deanna-er, Dean.]
Anyway, for those of you who are new, welcome aboard. I guess.

[voice]
Yeah. I'm on the lacrosse team. It's pretty much the most important sport of school.
[And, you know, part of an elite wolf pack, but that goes off the resume.]
[voice]
You must have a pretty good team.
[voice]
[It's kind of tight, the way he says it, but- ultimately, Isaac tries to remain flippant.]
We just won the championship game.
[After Isaac crippled like, half the guys on their team, whoops.]
[voice]
Yeah? Congratulations.
[voice]
One more thing the Initiative screwed me over on, I guess.

[A pause, and he cringes.]
Had a job.

[voice]
[He frowns.]
Mostly it was just in exchange for lacrosse stuff. I, uh- worked for my dad.
[voice]
[voice]
...so what do you do here? You got a job?

[A little awkward laugh.]
He owned the graveyard. I was a gravedigger.
[voice]
That's harsh. Digging up graves is pretty backbreaking work, especially if you have to do it alone.
[He speaks from experience.]
[voice]
[There would be a shrug here, if this were video.]
-I had a machine. But yeah, the detail work always sucked.
[voice]
Right, even with a machine.
[Because absolutely no one would be crazy enough to dig up a grave with just a shovel. No one.]
So do you think you'll look for a job here?
[voice]
Probably. I could use the extra spending cash. And I figure I'll get bored without one.
[voice]
Hey, if I manage to find one, I'll put in a good word for you.
[voice]
[A grin touches his tone.]
Thanks! I'll do the same for you. It's Sam- ?
[voice]
And yeah, Sam Winchester.
[voice]
...I gotta go.
[There is no such thing as subtlety in Beacon Hills.]
