Good afternoon! I do hope I’m coming through loud and clear, I’ve been informed that these are communication devices and I thought that it might be in my best interests to test that theory.

[And suddenly, from nowhere it seems that this scruffy, innocuous looking man has produced a fan and is tapping it thoughtfully against his bottom lip.]

This is quite an interesting turn of events for me, I dare say it's not every day a man finds himself transported centuries into the future and told that every person here is suddenly in possession of a sentient weapon of all things!

[There's a quick snap of his fan as he opens it and begins to fan it in front of his face, so anyone looking can't see the very slight smirk that tugs at his lips.]

Who ever heard of such a thing~? Ah! I don't suppose anyone happens to have seen a black cat wondering aimlessly around on their travels? I seem to have misplaced mine...

Not so, cats are terribly independent. It's hard to keep track of them when they get it into their mind to go off somewhere else.

It's simply a matter of determining what makes the cat happy and provided you keep that in mind I find them to be quite accommodating.
