Hello. This is... [ She pauses and huffs a laugh, her calm a little less forced. ] This isn’t how I expected my day to go in the slightest. I have been to alternate dimensions before, goodness knows, but this time around is a bit odd. It’s very organized.

I am. [ The smile disappears into a slight frown. ] My name is Wanda Maximoff and I am known as the Scarlet Witch. For a time, I was an Avenger. If there is anyone here from my world, my name may mean any number of things to you. I hope we may speak civilly regardless.

[ Though she’s not getting her hopes up, if the look on her face is any indication. ]

Oh terrible it's been just awful. Not that I'd prefer to be anywhere else so I guess it's a dead end.

I'm sorry to hear that. Perhaps there is a way to make your stay here less awful?

Very doubtful the humans here are no better than the ones at home. Why here they even steal you for no good reason at all that might even be worse.

[peaceinchaos]

I'm sure they're not all bad. At least there are humans who are in the same predicament as us.

I'm a mutant. We're similar to humans, but we have certain genetic differences.

[bearswitness]

What's genetic differences.

Nevermind just tell me how you're different.

It's a bit hard to explain without the science, but mutants have certain abilities that humans don't. For instance, I can control certain magics and my brother can run at incredible speeds.

[bearswitness]

So you're human with bonuses.

[peaceinchaos]

[ She can't help the sad little smile. That's the first time anyone's called her human... ]

Perhaps, though you'd be the only one to think that. Humans, normal humans, don't consider us their kind and there are mutants who take pride in the fact that they're not human.

[bearswitness]

So do you have the same charming qualities that start wars and inspire murders and the like I find those especially nice in humans.

[peaceinchaos]

Well, yes.

But those aren't qualities aren't exclusive to humans or mutants in my world. Certainly all of us have the ability to be violent and terrible, but there's also a great capacity for good.

[bearswitness]

No certainly not I think trolls have their fair share as well. All of you are awful.

[peaceinchaos]

All of us? Surely you've met an exception to the rule before.

[bearswitness]

There are exceptions. That doesn't mean you're not all awful.
