001 // tiny researches [TEXT]
Good evening. I'm Carlos, a new arrival. I'm a human scientist, from Earth, year 2013.
I was hoping that some transports would be able to help me with an informal survey regarding their home world and time points. Feel free to leave some answers blank, I just wanted to get an idea of what different worlds are out there. This is for my own personal research, but I appreciate any help you can provide. I apologize if someone has asked these questions before, I just wanted to get up-to-date data.
Thanks!
[There's a small survey attached!]
World name:
Date you left and arrived here:
Days in a year:
Hours per day:
Moons? (If YES, how many):
Climate (desert, forest, etc.):
Home country and city:
Carbon-based life? (If NO, please clarify which element, eg. silicon):
Races (Human/Non-Human):
Brief description of technology in your world:
Has your race ever encountered extraterrestrial life? (If YES, please elaborate):

text;
World name: I'm from two, actually - one named Earth, the other, the Enchanted Forest.
Date you left and arrived here: Unsure of the exact date. Some time in the late winter.
Days in a year: 365.
Hours per day: 24.
Moons? (If YES, how many): Yes. Just one, I think?
Climate (desert, forest, etc.): The Enchanted Forest did, in fact, have forests! Along with beaches and deserts. Earth, at least my section of it, was mainly woods and beaches.
Home country and city: Currently? America. Storybrooke, Maine.
Carbon-based life? (If NO, please clarify which element, eg. silicon): Yes.
Races (Human/Non-Human): Humans, werewolves, mermaids, giants, ogres. I'm unsure if witches and wizards count.
Brief description of technology in your world: In Storybrooke, things are relatively modern for the year 2013. In the Enchanted Forest, we are behind THOSE times, at least, by several hundred years. Some tend to use magic in place of modern technology.
Has your race ever encountered extraterrestrial life? (If YES, please elaborate): We have come into contact with beings from other worlds, yes.

[That was very curious, and would help to prove his theory about Night Vale, if it was true!]
text;
then again, considering that the vast majority of people here have powers akin to magic, belle assumes that he won't get too far, if he is. and what better way to convert someone than to educate them? ]
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. Interdimensional geography, if that's comparable to it, isn't really something I'm familiar with.
It's possible to open portals between the worlds. I know that much. And to send people between them.
text;
Perhaps it's simply that the other universe, if there are multiples of a universe, which is my current theory, is able to cast ripples into ours, distorting space-time in one world, almost like a residual effect of the shifting in one universe.
[There's a pause.]
That's the current theory, at least, though it doesn't explain how one might be able to open a pathway between them.
text;
I'm not sure how to explain the pathway here, I'm afraid. Between the two I'm most familiar with, the methods were a little bit offbeat, to put it lightly.
[ well. not offbeat to her. but look most people don't look at beans and think "wow totally gonna use these to cross between worlds."
same thing with top hats. ]
text;
You see, in one universe you might live in Storybrook, and another you might be living in California, or something like that. There are an invinite number of possibilities.
