I'm as pissed off as anyone about what happened, but the overall attitude here isn't going to help anything! Maybe you got hurt! Maybe you died! But if you just sit around and mope, that's not going to help anything! You're alive now and it's up to you to decide what to do with that opportunity!

You choose how you keep moving forward! Do you really think you can make a difference for those people if you just stay where you are?! Or if you try to pretend like it never happened?! NO! I'm not saying it shouldn't have an effect on you, but the sooner you get past it, the sooner you can do something about it!

I mean finding another way that won't curse an innocent world. They knew the dangers this time but they went ahead anyway!

I don't think they'd - no one would go ahead and do what they did if they knew this would happen.

I'm not saying they knew that it would lead to something of this magnitude, but they decided that their risk for their experiment was more important than the lives of all those people!

How could they make that decision if they didn't know?

Because the possibility of even one completely innocent person being killed should have made them reconsider the whole plan!

That's not how war works.

[He actually hasn't been in a real war zone til now, so it's still easy for him to keep up some idealism for now.]

Letting countless people on your own side perish doesn't sound like a wise strategy no matter how it "works"!
