[It had been a while since his last network post. Ico was markedly thinner now but he looked healthy.

He waved at the screen.]

A lot of people here know how to cook, right? Would you teach me what you know? If it's how to make cookies, I almost know how to do that already.

Whenever you'd like, really. I don't have much else to do.

Sure-! Uhm - where do you want to meet me?

At the housings, I live in unit 802.

Okay. I'll try to not take too long.

Do you want me to bring anything?

I'll leave the door open for you.

[He went into the kitchen and he turned the tablet over to show Peter that he had a moderately filled refrigerator.]

I think I have enough. I bought food earlier.

[perdre]

Good - I'm sure we'll figure something nice out, then. [That's an attempt at an optimistic tone for you.] See you in a bit-!

[It doesn't take him too long to show up. Surely enough there's an uncertain knock at the door.]

[Ico greeted Peter at the door. He hastily finished tying on an apron. Now his Mark would not get dirty.]

Thank you for coming. Do you want to eat or drink something first? I have juice and fruits.

[perdre]

No, I'm fine, thanks. [He arches his brows and presses his lips, hands at his sides and kept to himself, looking around with mild curiosity and friendliness in his eyes.] Maybe later.

[hornedomen]

Then shall we begin? What do you want to start with?

[He was eager to learn but he did not want to be disrespectful. He waited for Peter.]

Let me see what you've got first.

[hornedomen]

I have bread and rice and noodles.

[He went into the kitchen and he started naming what he had. There was beef and chicken along with various fruits and vegetables.]

[perdre]

[Beef sounded good - they could do something simple with it. He ducks down to find some garlic and olive oil.]

Where do you keep the salt?

[hornedomen]

Over here.

[He took the salt. The garlic was on a counter and he had peanut oil near it.]

[perdre]

Okay, so - [he picks up a knife and the oil, pouring it into a pot,] You cut the garlic into thin slices and put it in the oil. Let it heat up a little. [He waits a moment, salting the beef on a plate, returning his attention shortly after,] See? When the garlic starts dancing a little, you put the rice in and mix it all up. Then just pour water and a little salt. It's really easy.

[hornedomen]

[He watched carefully for every detail, seeing how thin the garlic was cut and how high the temperature was. It all looked easy.]

Does the rice need to be cooked first?

[perdre]

Not necessarily, [he placed the lid on the pot, turning back to the beef.] But it might take a little longer to prepare than the rest. Do you want to grill the meat?
