Oh-! Oh, Exsilium! How wonderful to see you once again!

[The red-skinned, four eyed alien behind the camera looks utterly delighted, though by the looks of her surroundings she’s found herself in a very depressing and shabby-looking building. But still, all four of her eyes are crinkled in delight and her grin is wide, and toothy. She obviously couldn't wait long to post this; judging by the background of the video, she’s in the courtyard of the Initiative Hold, and is occasionally wiping droplets of water from her tablet with one hand.]

Wonderful, again! Has it been long since I was gone!? How is the Clinic? It is thrilling to have returned!

[She pauses for a handful of seconds, and looks away, her expression turning from bright to cheerful, to something more restrained, thoughtful.]

Ah. But. I suppose, I should ask. If my captain has returned. If my friends are still...still well. If the war is still present. Though I am certain it is. [She sighs, then grins once again, her slightly-somber mood apparently over.]

Of course, I am still eager to assist! As I have before! It is my duty as long as I am here!

[Sango hasn't really got the hang of anything but video yet, so that's what she's sticking to, looking curious, a two-tailed red-eyed cat perched precariously on one shoulder.]

Pardon me, but... a doctor for humans?

[Nananea doesn't look very human, after all.]

Oh, yes! Yes, I have experience treating humans! And other species, but yes, I understand human physiology quite well now.

I see. Was that something you learned back in your world?

[xenophiliac]

To an extent! I only have contact with two...three humans on a regular basis. I learned much in my previous visit to Exsilium as well.

My formal education only included the physiology of my species, but I have learned to adapt my knowledge to others.

[taijiya]

What is your species? If you don't mind my asking?

[The eternal battle of politeness versus curiosity. It rages.]

Sa-marad! It is a question I answer often! Perhaps I should start including it in my introduction? [She laughs.]

[taijiya]

[Sango flushes a little.]

Well... it does seem like you're a little under-represented here.

[xenophiliac]

I am the only one to have ever entered Exsilium, but it does not cause me grief, so there is no cause to worry!

[taijiya]

That you're the only one, or that you're here?

[Considering who the people from Sango's world who also ended up here are, she'd probably rather be alone as well.]

[xenophiliac]

Oh my! I am the only one here! Where I come from, my species is exceedingly prolific! Excuse me for the confusion! It has been so long since I have talked to individuals who do not know me well.

[taijiya]

Oh, no! Sorry, I was actually asking if you weren't upset to be here in general, or just weren't upset to be here without others of your kind. I guess I wasn't very clear, either.

[xenophiliac]

To be honest, my new friend, I have not been among others of my kind for nearly a decade, as humans would reckon it! I do not miss them, and I have my own reasons for leaving.

I much prefer the company of aliens, like yourself!

[taijiya]

[Sango can't help but smile a little. Nananea is fairly contagious, it seems.]

I see. While I can't exactly share the sentiment, I guess I can appreciate it. My name is Sango, by the way.

[A small, two-tailed cat appears on her shoulder then.]

Wonderful to meet you both! Extremely wonderful! Have you been here long, Sango?

Not long. A couple of days, really.

Oh! Then we have arrived at the same time! More or less. Transports tend to arrive once every month, or so I have observed. However, they leave at any time! It's so strange.
