U, um... I'm sure someone has probably mentioned this before but - what do you suppose happens to people who...aren't here anymore?

I, I'm sure they just go back home and all is well, right? [ she laughs softly to herself and for a moment there's a rather sullen and worried look on her face. however, she quickly recovers and a bright look on her face overtakes everything. ]

I'm sorry if this is a really silly question, but I was only curious.

I... The same goes for me. I, I mean it's selfish in the way but it's easier on the mind.

Well...isn't it a bit selfish to want something just to make oneself feel better? I, I mean of course I care about the people who go disappear and I really want them to be okay.

But to believe that they go home is something that I desire for them.

I think it's rather selfless, actually. To wish the best for those you care about, even if it's just so you'll feel better.

Do you really think so? [ she mulls over this a little bit ]

I... I suppose it could be a little selfless. Though, it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things as long as they're okay.

Of course. [he's trying to sound reassuring.] I can agree with that.

[ she smiles at his tone ]

No, not really. Barely a month, I think.
