[ Today you may find two teenage boys huddled around the camera. Kuroh, the boy with black hair, has set up the video function on his tablet, at the suggestion of several other people he met earlier, in a last-ditch effort to find out if their lost friend made it to Exsilium with them. And since they're still very new at this, they might as well give it a shot!

The boy with white hair, Yashiro, has drawn a moustache on himself with marker and has taped two rectangular pieces of paper to his eyebrows in a sad attempt at a disguise. Well, when you’ve got people after you and don’t know if they’re here or not, you have to be extra careful! He kicks the video off with a bright smile and a wave. ]

Hello everyone, fellow Transports! ...That’s what we’re called, right? Anyway, we’ve just arrived and, well, we’re looking for someone. We figured you might be able to help.

[ Kuroh nods in agreement and addresses the camera. ] Her name is Neko. She has long light pink hair, one green eye, and one blue.

That’s right! Hmm, I’m not sure how old she is, but she’s pretty young. [ Yashiro looks up, tapping his chin in thought. ] Younger than me, so that would put her... 16? Or 15, maybe?

We should probably also note that she can change her appearance at will. Specifically, as she has the power to manipulate senses, she often chooses to appear as a small cat.

She’s a pretty cute kitten, right Kuro? [ Turning to him and grinning! ...When there’s no response, he just turns back to the tablet. ] She’s affectionate, likes to eat a lot, and really hates clothes-- oh.

[ Oh yeah, they should....probably talk about this. Um. Kuroh looks over at Shiro, but there’s no sign of backup, so he gulps and continues. ] ...That’s correct. She may also be naked. [ Wow this is very awkward. ]

[ Yashiro glances at Kuroh. ] ...That sounds pretty weird, doesn’t it.

…Of course, she may also be invisible. [ Probably should have mentioned that earlier, huh? These guys are totally helpful. ]

She can do that!?

Theoretically. She could manipulate her surroundings so others wouldn’t see her at all.

[ Wow. Well, good thing she’s on their side then, huh? Good to know. In closing, he gives a big smile and another wave to the camera. ] Well, I hope this was helpful! [ HA. ] If you’ve got any information or have seen her or, [ he leans in, peering at the lens ] Neko? If you’re here?

[Her smile is pleasant, her look conspiratorial. She goes so far as to lean in close to the camera on her tablet. Her skin is flawless, or perhaps she is just that good with makeup.]

I have seen no one like this. [A breathless whisper.]

Which can only mean one thing. She's probably in my room right now.

Which of you [ahem] handsome gentlemen intends to come get her?

I do like facial hair. I won't lie.

[ As it happens, this one is tragically unfamiliar with innuendo. But neither of them have facial hair, lady...?? Does not compute.

So, let's focus on the logic! ] If you haven't seen her, then how would you know where she is? [ His tone is pretty genuine right now, not particularly suspicious or anything. ]

It stands to reason. The behavior you described is very tricky, the sort of someone who would be in the place one would least expect.

But are you certain she's in your apartment? There may be signs if that is the case.

The most noticeable one I can think of would be food mysteriously vanishing. [ Beat. ] Rice crackers, for example. [ He does seem to recall her liking those. ]

But if she's stealing food, I doubt she would stick around for too long at the scene of the crime.

I've never heard of such things, and it's no mystery where the food goes here. [Scoff.]

[Not three days in the place, and she's already trash talking her roommates.]

Is she a thief? I don't take kindly to being stolen from.

[Hey, where'd that knife come from? She twirls it once in her hand.]

[ Whooa, where DID that knife come from? Alarm briefly flashes on his face, before he gives the woman a stern look. ]

There's no need for that kind of thing. Even if she had stolen from you, we would repay you. She just... [ Small sigh. ] She can be very irritable, but she's well-meaning.

I can be very irritable, too, especially toward thieves.

[A final flash of the knife before she conceals it again.]

So if something has come up missing, I can trust you're good to reimburse me?

[ His eyes close, and he responds almost impatiently. ]

If she is here and if she has taken something from you, we would work something out.

[ Probably. ]

Her presence here is appearing more unlikely, however.

Ah... [ Oh, he gets it. Cue a really awkward laugh and yeah, he's blushing. ]

You think you could check? I mean like, confirm? With the video?

What are you talking about? How could I do that with someone who's invisible?

Is there a reason you're in need of a disguise? Are you in some kind of trouble?

You're sure you're not trying to worm your way into people's homes for a heist? I am thinking all of this is very shifty.

[ Must not think it's cute, must not think it's cute. ] And invisible too? How do you think you will find her with those specifications?

Hahahah... [ OOPS ] Well, you never know, right? Maybe someone heard her running around going "Shiro~ Shiro~," or something?

[ ! ] She is looking for Shirou?

[ Saber doesn't stop to consider that 'Shiro' may be a nickname for one of the two. ]

I imagine she would be. I dunno if she really likes anyone else. [ Like Kuro. Especially Kuro. ]

[ Competition in the love department. Oh no. Saber's anxiety flickers onto her face briefly, but is easily dismissed by her iron will. No one will take Shirou from her. ]

If she is looking for Shirou, then her business conflicts with my own. Therefore, we shall fight.

I don't think we've met, unless-- [ He stops himself, because it suddenly occurs to him that she may be one of the people after him? But if she is then why does she know his nickname?? So yeah. Have this bewildered look. ]

No, we have not met before.

[ A pause as it dawns on her. ] Perhaps you are right regarding this misunderstanding. You said this Neko might cry out for Shirou.

[ He nods. ] That's right. Me, Yashiro Isana. Or, "Shiro." Everyone calls me that...

... That is where the misunderstanding comes from. I was not aware of your name.

My Master goes by the name of Shirou as well. I thought if someone who was capable of the magic you speak of was searching for him, it was with the intent to be malicious. Forgive me for my assumptions.

Ahah, no, it's alright. I guess I should apologize, too, for not introducing myself. [ phew. ]

Unfortunately not. I'm beginning to think she doesn't want to be found [ his tone seems skeptical here--Neko is very much attached to Shiro after all ], or that she isn't here at all.

[ And he thought his life was weird, but this naked cat girl thing is... yeah. ]

I mean, if I saw your friend looking for me with his paperboard eyebrows and devilish mustache, I wouldn't want to be found either. Though the last part sounds plausible, too...

But if you're still trying to find her, maybe you should throw out bait. [ Maybe some food.

[ He groans at the mention of Shiro's "disguise." There wasn't really a point in trying to explain that doing that wouldn't actually make him stand out less. ]

We have considered...rice crackers. [ If there are any to be found here, that is.

[ It wouldn't... Other than it's a bad idea. ]

Ever tried catnip...? [ He tilts his head since rice crackers being the first thing that pops up in relation to a cat is a bit strange. ]

No, I meant it would at least attract her though I guess people would use it in that way if she's usually naked.
